Subjects of research of the Institute include biophysics, neurosciences, biochemistry, physiology, molecular biology, chemistry, physical chemistry, environmental protection, science of materials, artificial intelligence, computer software & systems, renewable energy sources, chemical technology & engineering, aquaculture, ichthyology and fisheries, plant and soil and phytoremediation. The research is mainly fundamental.
