Branka Vuković-Gačić, PhD is head of the Department of Microbiology. And associate professor Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Postdoctoral stay: 1996. FEMS (Federation of European Microbiological Societies) Fellowship, C.N.R. Ist. di Mutagenesi e Differenzamento, Pisa, Italy. She participated in several national research projects: "Plant antimutagens", "Natural antigenotoxic substances and mechanisms of their action". She was Councilor of Serbia in European Environmental Mutagen Society (EEMS) between 1999 and 2004.
