Alfredo Parrella
Alfredo Parrella. Full professor of Hygiene at the Faculty of Sciences, Second University of Naples. His research activity is addressed to hygiene and environmental risk such as a) genotoxic, toxic and mutagenic aspects of xenobiotics in various environmental matrices (air, waters, sediments); b) endocrino-mimetic activity of alchil-fenols, metals and pesticides in food; c) antioxidant and antimutagenic activity of food; d) evaluation of the environmental quality of surface waters; e) antigenotoxic activity of probiotic products. His scientific production has been concretized in 120 on both national and international journals.
